Parents & Admin

Our parents and admin workshops are unique as it provides parents and administrators with the resources needed to support the learning of students.

Learn proper technique, gain confidence and experience the RESULTS. This is the first step to a permanent lifestyle change and improve your overall health.

We believe everyone deserves access to fantastic Mental Health care, and we translate that belief into action every day through our comprehensive workshops & seminars. Our workshops focuses on the 8 dimensions of wellness with tools for improving and resources to guide reflective analysis.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Middle & High School Students Workshops

Student Success Workshops provide students with step by step strategies to improve their quality of life through, physical fitness + nutrition, managing relationships and managing stress, and financial literacy workshops.  Workshops are offered throughout the year.  Please view our schedule for a listing of this semester's workshops. Space will fill up quickly.

Mental Health

Mental health can affect a student's energy level, concentration, dependability, mental ability, and optimism, hindering performance. This leads to poor academic performance and engagement.

Fitness + Nutrition 

A balanced diet + exercise will help students increase energy levels, promote  immune system, improve their ability to cope with stress, and increase concentration and performance in school.

Identity Development

Young people's identities are shaped by lots of factors family, cultural and societal expectations, experiences with institutions like school and the media, and friends.

Financial Literacy

Financial Literacy for High School Students is offered both online and in person to teach students how to make wise financial decisions to promote financial well-being over their lifetime.

Parents & Administrators Workshops

Our workshops offer parents information and insights about age-appropriate behavior in their child’s development and how early intervention can prevent children from developing negative psychological experiences. The workshops also focus on the effects of trauma on children and how to prevent traumatic incidents from occurring. Every workshop is designed to help parents support their child’s mental well-being as well as their own.

Mental Health @ Work

Be open-minded about the experiences and feelings of colleagues. Respond with empathy, offer peer support, and encourage others to seek help. Adopt behaviours that promote stress management and peace of mind knowing that your work is impactful.

Nutrition & Meal Planning

Meal planning includes types and amounts of food, incorporating dietary fiber, understanding proper serving sizes, management of eating out and special occasions, as well as incorporating favorite recipes.

Student Development

The ways that a student grows, progresses, or increases his or her developmental capabilities as a result of intentional programming focussed on identity development, skills building, cultural learning, and acceptance.

Financial Literacy

Financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. Financial Literacy is the foundation of your relationship with money, and it is a lifelong journey of learning.

College Students Workshops

Our workshops usually involve teaching and or presenting on themes and concepts associated with the learning of new information, or the development of a skill, related to a course of study. Workshops may involve more hands-on learning with a heavy emphasis on discussion, interaction, presentation and debate on a given topic.

Academic Exploration

The Academic Exploration workshops gives students the opportunity to explore their career paths through various activities. Students will be given the ability to learn more about themselves, different majors and careers, and actualize their career goals.

Financial Literacy

Financial literacy is the understanding of key financial concepts and skills. Someone's level of financial literacy is a strong indicator of how financially successful they'll be in the future. Financial literacy for college students is especially important because students face unique economic challenges.

Personal Management

Self-management helps students become a successful learner. We teach strategies, techniques and approaches to direct our activities and behaviours effectively. When it comes to study, self-management includes goal setting, planning and managing your time. Self-management is a key skill that will help you throughout your life.
